So I wanted to go check the forums over at Digitribe.org but I get forwarded to LARP.com instead. I then thought that maybe it got a new host or something and tried Digitribe.com instead.
This was the only other place I knew to post and ask about the website. What happened and why is there a knockoff Tribe on the dot com? Sorry if someone has already explained this a billion times. I have a knack for not knowing what is going on in the grand scheme of things related to my circle of friends.

DragonCon is right around the corner - and I have some fantabulous news.
I scored us a 2nd room in the Hyatt, and so it looks like we will be able to crowd more of you slackers in to the DigiTribe Dorm of Doom this year.
There are only a few spots left, so if you are interested please reply here, or send me an email. Supplies are going fast. Plan to spend around $100 per person.

Here is the official word -
Friday, May 20th 10:30pm, DigiTribe and friends shall decend on the Buckhead Backlot Cinema and Cafe for an evening of friends, lightsabers, dark sith lords, and beer.

As of today this theatre had only sold 5 tickets to that showing. Act quickly, get your ticket.
We will also need to show up early to make sure we all get in the same theatre and get decent seats (and of course can order dinner an cider). There is a nice veranda in the place, so dont be afraid to get there crazy early.

DigiTribe owns Episode III
What say you? Friday 5/20 9pm or later showing....
We cram as many of us cool people in one theatre as the fire code allows.
One of the following theatres?
Lafont Sandy Springs
(Less crowded, but can't find a place to buy tickets online this early)
Buckhead Backlots
(no traditional seating, smaller theatre, real food and CIDER on tap)
Who is in? Remember to cast your vote for a theatre. I think it is imperative that everyone buy tickets before hand.

| Geekin Teaser Trailer - progress report |

I have made significant progress on the Geekin' Teaser Trailer in the last few days. It is quickly becoming somthing that I am decently proud of.
I have it up to about 45sec of footage, need to push it another 5-10 for it to be where I need it.
I havn't started on the sound yet. I might get around to that tonight - if not, definatly this weekend. By Monday, I bet I have an almost fully functional trailer if I work hard.
At that point, I will want to screen it for different people, get some feedback and make tweaks as nessisary. If everything with that goes as planned.. there may be an official Teaser Trailer release as early as 3/25/05. How cool is that?

The DigiTribe Dorm of Doom and Drunken Debauchery will return to DragonCon 2k4 this year.
This year we will be going against tradition, hosting the Dorm in THE MARRIOTT MARQUIS instead of the Hyatt as usual.
Interested Dorm-mates should email me ASAP regarding specifics.
I can neither confirm nor deny the vicious rumor concerning the return of the SCAVENGER HUNT OF DOOM.

The moment you are all waiting for. Let me share a little info with you...
We will be kicking off this season of RELIC much like we did last year. We will have a Meet and Greet day at The War Room game store Feb 21 from 4 to end. At this event we will be doing the following:
* There will be a Rules Errata released (not a new version). Expect changes to Attribute/Vital system and some basic Skill realigning. Players who attend this Meet & Greet day will be allowed a limited respend. (Subject to staff approval: Name/Race/Core Concepts may NOT be changed)
* New players who show up to The War Room will be given an additional 2 build to a character they create there.
* Old players who bring new players to The War Room will receive an additional 1 build per newbie, when that newbie pays for their first event (prereg at The Warroom counts!)
* Anyone who preregisters for the first 3day of the season will get the opportunity to pull from "The Lost Hat". The Lost Hat will contain a random selection of Lost Skills in the game. The drawing of one of the Lost Skills represents the ability to be taught that skill anytime this season. (You must still spend the build, but you have a phantom teacher) This is non-transferable, and completely random.
In other news:
The First Event of the season will be a 3day event that will continue where the last 1day left off. This will be an earth-shattering, paradigm-shifting event ... so I urge all of you to come and bring friends.
The date for The Warroom day will be made available here later this week.
